NYK Line is a global shipping firm that currently has the world’s biggest cargo fleet. It also operates its own freight terminals, road and rail haulage operations and manages all of the logistics infrastructure in between.
NYK’s required an IT solution that would help it service its customers in a more proactive manner. NYK’s own staff needed to be informed and aware of their customers’ changing requirements in all areas, including scheduling, billing and service support. In addition, the company needed a cost-effective customer relationship management (CRM) solution that could work with its existing IT systems.
